Kayaking
There are many beautiful lakes and reservoirs within 1 hour of the cabin. We currently don't have kayaks at the cabin but that will be fixed soon.
In the meantime, you can rent kayaks from Sierra Nevada Adventure Company in Arnold or in the case of Lake Alpine, rent from Lake Alpine Lodge.

Lake Alpine - 27 min
A favorite spot for boating, fishing, and swimming.

Utica Reservoir - 42 min
A small and very picturesque reservoir. It's rocky, wooded shoreline and many islands make it very fun to paddle and explore. You can also camp all around the reservoir, including on some islands. Only non-motorized boating is allowed.

Kinney Reservoir - 57 min
This reservoir takes a little longer to get to but the drive is beautiful and the view from the lake is stunning.
